The Orchestra - 2018

JOINING THE ORCHESTRA
Membership in the Evanston Civic Orchestra is open to adults and high school age youth.  Middle school age youth will be considered with an audition or teacher recommendation.  For all instruments besides strings, spots are limited.  Please contact the orchestra at evanstoncivicorchestra {at} gmail.com to sign up.

CONTRIBUTIONS
Contributions are collected from members once per year to help pay for music, the director, and other expenses.   Donations of any size are always accepted.  However, the following contributions are the standard suggestion:

• Once per year - $20 Adults; $10 Students

SCORES
Orchestra members are responsible for obtaining their own scores for Messiah productions only.  The preferred score for orchestra is edited by E.Prout and published by G. Schirmer, Inc.  The ECO has used this edition for many years.

CONCERT ATTIRE
Men: Concert black, including a jacket, black socks, and black dress shoes.
Women: Concert black, including long skirt/dress or dress pants, black socks or nylons, and black dress shoes.
