Great Attendance for the Final Performance

Messiah 2012
What a great audience we had for our performance of Messiah on Dec. 16th.  After all the hard work and time that went into the preparation, I'm glad we were able to share the final result with so many people.

The reception was excellent, and audience members and performers enjoyed mingling after the concert.  Thanks to Allen for taking photos and video and for everyone who helped decorate the stage.

Chorus and Orchestra members enjoyed the collaboration in this event and hope to work together again soon.

Messiah Performance in Two Weeks!

Performance Sunday is coming up really quick.  Make sure you have your calendars marked to attend this year's Messiah performance:
Handel's Messiah
Sunday, December 16th
6:00 p.m.
Davis Middle School auditorium

Family-friendly event with free admission
Reception after the concert

The performance will feature many well-known choruses, such as "For Unto Us a Child is Born," and "Hallelujah," as well as several familiar solos, including "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth" and "The Trumpet Shall Sound."

The orchestra and chorus have had a great time rehearsing this fall under the direction of Stephen Fairbanks and Ryan North.  We hope you will plan to join us on the 16th to experience the culmination of our hard work.
